- What we like: Fast fingerprint sensor that works, amazing resolution camera and stunning resolution and colors for the screen.
- What we don’t like: Kind of cheap charger.
The Nexus 5X is a newly released smartphone by Google in conjunction with LG. The Nexus 5X comes in a plain white box with the sleeve upfront. The LG and Android logo are both inscribed on it with an image of the Nexus 5X and the Nexus X logo at the back.
Inside the box is a graphical leaflet for safety precautions, the Nexus device, and Google Play Music license for 90 days which comes as a bonus for purchasing the device. It also comes with a safety and warranty leaflet and a type C USB adapter and a type C USB cable.
Now looking at the Nexus 5X device, the screen is a 5.2” Full HD display with a speaker at the bottom and an earpiece as well as a 5MP front facing camera and some device sensors. At the back of the device, there is an LG and a Nexus logo imprinted at the bottom and there is also a 12.3MP rear facing camera with a flash and a fingerprint sensor at the top. At the top of the device is a single microphone and at the bottom there is another microphone and a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as the USB type C input port. On the right hand side of the device is the power button and the volume keys while at the left hand side is the sim card tray.
With the device turned on is the Android Marshmallow boot animation which is a great bonus for the device as it gets the latest Android updates officially from Google without waiting for 3rd parties.
